Fabricated from the latest technology in engineered wood laminates, Masterart ARTpanels are designed to meet all the needs of artist that require a stable rigid surface.

Super light-weight: Masterart Painting panels utilise the most recent developments in engineered wood technology to produce fully cradled panels (40 mm deep) that weigh less than a stretched canvas.

Each panel is made up of a 6.0 mm high tech laminated hardwood face which is supported by a 34 mm deep cradle made of the same lightweight laminate. Cross bracing and diagonal braces are then added for larger Masterart ARTpanels to ensure stiffness and stability.

BS1088 Compliant: All materials utilised in Masterart ARTpanels exceed the standards for Marine grade applications including type A adhesives that withstand a 72 hour boiling test.

Every Masterart ARTPANEL is given 2 coats of shellac to all surfaces to minimise moisture uptake and then 3 coats of Purity Gessoe are applied to the painting surfaces then hand sanded to provide the ideal painting surface for acrylics, oil or gouache.
