Masterart Single Braces are designed to slot into Masterart Heavy Duty Stretcher bars.
Stretching canvas imparts considerable stresses on stretcher bars, causing them to bow inwards. Bracing is used to hold the stretcher bars apart and ensure that the stretcher bars remain parrallel.
Ideally, single braces are used where one side of the stretcher bar exceeds 30" (760 mm)
Where two sides exceed 30", a Cross Brace will be required.
