Masterart Single Bracing is made with our 18mm x 65 mm finger jointed pine brace molding. Kiln dried and machined at our factory to a range of standard lengths or custom sizes to suit your requirements and designed to slot into Masterart Heavy Duty Interlocking Stretcher Bars.
Stretching canvas imparts considerable stresses on stretcher bars, causing them to bow inwards. Bracing is used to hold the stretcher bars apart and ensure that the stretcher bars remain parallel.

Bracing: Single bracing is recommended on all frames where one side of the frame exceeds 30" (760 mm).

Cross bracing should be used where two sides exceed 30" Cross bracing
Double bracing is available for all frames that exceed 60" (1500 mm). Double cross bracing

Sizes:Custom sizes can be made for any requirement up to 4800 mm.
